ReTHINK Sports commits itself to empowering underprivileged youth by nurturing their mental and emotional health, as well as fostering personal growth through enrichment activities, sports programs, and academic assistance. Our aim is to ensure fair access to resources and opportunities that encourage resilience, self-awareness, and comprehensive development, empowering participants to surmount obstacles and reach their utmost potential.
ReTHINK It and Black Star Lacrosse Club have established a collaborative partnership aimed at fostering holistic youth development and securing a facility for sports and enrichment activities in South Los Angeles. ReTHINK It will provide transformative learning experiences, wellness activities, and mentorship programs to dismantle systemic harm and support marginalized communities, while Black Star Lacrosse Club will empower youth through lacrosse, offering skill development, leadership cultivation, and self-confidence building for underrepresented groups. Together, the organizations will operate a Sports Facility in the South central Los Angeles area, to better serve the community’s youth with initiatives integrating wellness, transformative learning, and sports development to address systemic barriers and promote social justice.
